This is my reason for visiting Nuremberg, Germany and Bydgoszcz, Poland: Thomas Girst told me that there once existed a "bell graveyard" somewhere in Germany where war-loots in the form of bells were stored. There were very little information about this and mostly only in German. After much digging around, I found a 2005 Der Spiegel article referred to this bell graveyard - and with this pointer I set out on a journey to locate one of these Nazi-abducted bells. This is a photograph of the bell graveyard.

The Great Paul that adorns the St Paul's Cathedral was cast out of this huge mold. The mold sits in the Queen's Park in Loughborough, a short walk from the foundry that produced it.
